Practice Listening to Sounds and Accents

This is just one person sharing a lesson. There are many others, and you can find
the one that makes the most sense to you at this time.

Repeat what you hear the second time you hear this video.

Another good place to go to find out what the accent of a vowel or consonant is a Spanish/English dictionary. That gives you the guide for correct usage at all times.

When someone says accent, stress, or inflection, that is another focus. That, we will cover in time.

For this lesson, just start to discriminate sounds at first and practice them when you can. You can always study the inflection of a given word in a dictionary, when you have time to focus on that topic.

Right now, concentrate on discerning and discriminating accents of people.
